About us

 

Shukuko Miyake is a San Jose/Campbell–based floral designer and instructor. Her work combines contemporary floral design with an appreciation for the natural beauty, movement, and simplicity found in Japanese Ikebana.

 

She is an AIFD/CFD-accredited floral designer and has studied with internationally recognized floral designers including Hitomi Gilliam, Per Benjamin, and Bart Hassam.

 

Shukuko has completed Book 5 of the Sogetsu Ikebana curriculum and is eligible to apply for a Sogetsu teaching certificate. Her Ikebana work has been exhibited through Sogetsu and Ikebana International, and she has also assisted her instructor with Sogetsu Ikebana demonstrations.

 

Through CROFT flowers, she brings her experience and design philosophy to floral workshops, weddings, events, and custom floral design.
